Kimberly, Thank you. The video showed his determination to stay with odor, anise. We had trouble at the last trial, I could not get him off the first hide(anise) to work the second hide( birch). He also tends to pass a high hide to stay at a low hide. He has had surgeries on his back legs for bad patellas. I am starting to recognize his marking of odor, he will turn his head and look at it as he goes by. He did it in the video. He went past the high hide on the second vehicle, then went back to it, close to the end of the video, from the other side ( next to last find). He is perfectly capable of clearly indicating a hide out of his reach, he regularly, daily, tells me when he wants his food on the counter, or a treat on top of the tv stand. Annette
