Lastly, lesson 3C. This was actually our first search in the set, not certain why I chose to post alphabetically. At the start she shows a lot of interest in that front bumper, I didn’t interrupt because sometimes a girl just needs to sniff until she’s done sniffing and this is practice. Between the SUV and truck hides, I said alert (caught myself) and my leash handling should have been better, it actually went IN her mouth when I tried flipping it over her (plus it’s touching the ground a couple of times). Not my most stellar work but she makes up for it when she catches odor on the passenger side of the green car and follows it back! I suspect some learning is happening 😉 I’m curious how she would do with an inaccessible hide tossed into the mix.
