    You have become very good at reading her subtle body cues! Not everyone is able to read their dogs like that. And I think partly it’s because she is so “methodical” and subtle that it forces you to do this. 🙂

    BEAUTIFUL pay-out of the line between vehicles! Really nice!! And then you were very thoughtful when you decided to go between them yourself to work the back end and around to the left side of the red truck. This is exactly what can happen when the wind is carrying a hide from the other side. It is “stronger” in the sense that it is traveling over to the dog’s location and drawing them in whereas the kitty-corner wheel hide odor is probably going in the opposite direction. So despite her being right next to it, the hide on the side of the red truck was calling harder.

    Nice job coming back around the back end. You can see when Skye just passes the wheel slightly to the back she realizes there is a hide there. I think if she’d gone to the right side, she’d probably have noticed it over there.

    So something you need to keep track of is which way the wind is moving and that will help you know where to take your dog to catch odor from a possible hide.
