I understand and agree with your point here, Kim, but isn’t it also important for us to know what would happen in a trial, so we can judge our level of preparedness for trials? For instance, in our lesson 1 video, you suggested that I could have paid Biscuit earlier for the corner hide, where she alerted on the sliding glass door frame, but the hide was actually in the corner between the two sliding glass doors. My best guess is that in a trial situation, we would have heard a “no” if I called alert there. But yes, for training purposes, paying her from source for that alert would have made sense (if I had been a bit quicker and had my brain in better gear).
