    As others have mentioned, “back to basics” to me means fundamental building blocks–skills that are necessary for success as NW teams progress to next levels. I don’t want “holes” in our basic understanding and learning because these issues can haunt future progression. Also, Prim loves to take short cuts if they are available (she is a scent and sight hound), so when we first began NW classes, she’d attempt to “cheat” by using her keen eyes instead of her nose.

    Overall, I truly believe our weaknesses as a team are handler driven. I need to be able to consistently communicate with my best friend and let her “drive.”
