I think you’re on the right track! When you start to see her enthusiasm dip you’ve gone a tad too long but I didn’t see that in either of these searches.

Sasha seems to be engaged and motivated to search. She is off camera a bit in the second video on the deck so it’s hard to see what she’s distracted by but it doesn’t really matter, you got her back to searching, she looked like she was investigating all the containers and just didn’t land on the 3rd odor in a way that she recognized it. You were smart to give her a reward for going back to the first hide and end the search with excitement.

You could also experiment with that same scenario and put out only the one she missed in an easy location to see if it was the environment, the type of container, the amount of odor, the convergence, etc. 🙂
