Regarding switching between dogs for video review in a class, I like to handle it just like I do for in-person classes, which is that it is just one dog we’re working with. For me, as an instructor, it is too hard to switch back and forth because it’s not just about individual lessons, it’s about looking at the subtleties of a dog’s behavior over time to see what works, what doesn’t work, how we can adjust. So to switch back and forth takes that away and makes me work twice as hard. It also doesn’t seem quite fair to the students who have one dog in a class when others have two for the same price.
FWIW, the SOTMC is by PERSON so you can talk about all 6 of your dogs if you like. 😉
