Deb (De) Frost

When I tried this search with Baxter, I got a similar response. In his case, he found all 3 odor boxes pretty quickly, in spite of some ping-ponging. When asked to keep searching, he returned to each odor box once, and then headed for the walls (we were in a large indoor facility), trying to figure out if there was something else to find (or just bored and going off to find something else to DO? 😉

He sometimes checks walls during an active container search, too, and that’s fine since I know he sometimes needs to get out there in order to follow odor back to source … but when following odor, he is “working” odor and is very intent on his nose. He acts differently when he’s DONE and just casually moving off to sniff a wall. Whole different body language.
