Smoke matches are helpful – best to be used in a location that the dragon puffer won’t work; on a wall, in an elevated spot, etc. Use with earthquake putty to fasten, then best to light with a lighter (don’t use the match box to light them) and move out of the way so you’re not blocking the air currents. They have a strong burst of smoke but it doesn’t last very long. The dragon puffer is hard to get into certain spaces but you can rig it to puff continuously so it’s helpful to set up and step away to observe. Just be careful not to spill the liquid in the puffer, it can be a bit messy if you’re sloppy.
