An NACSW authorized online education offering

The topic for this session will be “NW3 Challenges and Building Advanced Skill Sets”

This course will run from Monday, July 23 through Sunday, August 12, 2018.

The specifics of the assignment will be available on the Joyride K9 Dog Training online education site by Monday, July 16 so GOLD level students can begin to prepare for their classes. Only enrolled students will have access to this information.

There will be 3 levels of participation in this course. Please be aware that your CEU’s earned will be based on completing the requirements for each level:

GOLD (12 participants max, 12 possible CEU’s) – $195
· Will prepare and submit (1) Case Study for review and discussion based on the topic provided
· Will share class video submissions based on their Case Study (estimate 2-3 students, 1-3 videos of each exercise, showing the progression or changes you made or challenges you saw, etc. – videos should be approx. 3 min or less)
· Will participate with one-on-one Q&A and discussions with the Course Instructor within their private CASE STUDY thread
· Will participate with the DISCUSSION forum about other Case Studies or general topics

SILVER (25 participants max, 7 possible CEU’s) – $125
· Will begin at least (1) new topic of discussion within the DISCUSSION forum about the Case Studies or other general topics
· Will regularly participate with the DISCUSSION forum about Case Studies or other general topics

BRONZE (Unlimited participants, 5 possible CEU’s) – $90
· Auditor without active participation

Because this is essentially a self-study format, we will monitor your participation and conduct a survey to gather information about what you learned in this course after completion. Your actual earned CEU’s will be dependent upon your level of participation and the accuracy of your submission.

Based on interest we may offer another Continuing Education course in this format in the near future. You may earn CEU’s ONCE PER PARTICIPATION LEVEL during each re-certification period.

REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN FROM 9AM (Pacific Time) on 7/9/18 through 9AM (Pacific Time) on 7/11/18 for all first draw entrants.

**REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED**

*NOTE* If you register for this first course during the initial 48-hour registration window we will give you a $10 discount off your entry fee!

YOU WILL REGISTER FOR THE COURSE BY RANKING IN ORDER OF YOUR PREFERRED LEVEL OF PARTICIPATION;

EXAMPLE—->
Gold/1st-Priority, Silver/2nd-Priority, Bronze/3rd-Priority, I’ll wait/4th Priority (You’ll be Bronze at minimum)
EXAMPLE—->
Gold/1st-Priority, I’ll wait/2nd-Priority
(From there the ranking doesn’t matter, either you get drawn for Gold or you wait for the next available course.)

After we take registrations we will do a “first draw” (random selection) based on your CNWI status (Current CNWI will get first priority of placement) and preferences of participation and notify you of the results by July 13th. You will then have 48 hours to make payment to hold your spot.

Open spots will be given in order of preferences/draw within the first group.

IF there are open spots after all “first draw” registrants are selected for a level we will sign people up in order of registration (outside the initial 48-hour registration window).

Since there are unlimited Bronze spots we will take Bronze registrations until the course begins on Monday, July 23, 2018. We will allow PI (prospective instructors) to register at the Bronze level.

In order to register you will need to be signed up as an NACSW student member with Joyride K9. You can do that at any time at this special page [WD_Button id=13154]
